APS 2026 Global Physics Summit Satellite Event to Be Hosted in Kathmandu, Nepal

The Nepal Physical Society (NPS) is honored to host a satellite event under the auspices of the American Physical Society’s (APS) 2026 Global Physics Summit (GPS) in Kathmandu, Nepal. Aligned with the APS 2026 theme, “Science for a Shared Future,” this event aims to bring together physicists, researchers, and students from Nepal and the international community to engage in meaningful scientific exchange. The satellite event will feature oral and poster presentations covering a broad spectrum of physics, reflecting the growing research activities and collaborations within the region.

NPS invites researchers to submit abstracts presenting original research and significant findings across various fields of physics. Selected abstracts will be considered for global and local presentations, with a limited number accepted for the global APS platform. This event represents an important opportunity for Nepalese physicists to connect with the global physics community, showcase their work, and contribute to advancing science for the benefit of society. Interested participants are encouraged to review the submission guidelines and submit their abstracts before the stated deadline.
